Network Setup or Upgrade

This service may include any or all of the following:

- Contact the phone company (Qwest, for example) to get service to your office.
- Contact the local service providers (people in your office building, for example)
- Set up a caching DNS server, if you want one
- Set up an email server if you want one (converting existing mail extra)
- Contact the Internet Service Provider.
- Perform network wiring (see caveats below).
- Configure any equipment (routers, for example) you may be given by the phone company.
- Set up a web server if you want one
- Set up a simple web page, if you want one
- Install network interface cards in your computers
- Do firewall setup (extra).

Caveats:

More complex installations may cost more.

It is normally straightforward to run network cables for your computers. The package deal includes a maximum of 5 computers (not including the DNS server and web server, if you use one).

There are some cases where wiring is extraordinarily difficult and we will need to subcontract these activities. In these cases, the package deal does not include the price of the subcontractor. You will be informed of this before any work starts.

Parts such as Category 5 cable, Network interface cards, and connectors are not part of the package deal.

Installation fees charged by the telecommunications company are charged separately and are not included in the price.
