Software licenses cost you a lot of money. This is not true with software that is available under the GNU Public License (GPL). Software available via the GPL does not have licensing fees. The following chart offers GPL alternatives to popular current non-GPL software.

We understand that you have your favorite non-GPL applications and that you may not be ready for a radical change yet. We still run a mixture of Linux and Windows computers ourselves, after all.
